cold weather shelter

During the winter months, Davis Community Meals operates a Cold Weather Shelter in downtown Davis to shelter up to ten homeless individuals: eight men and two women. The shelter operates from mid-November through March 31st. The program provides a safe, warm shelter for homeless individuals during the winter months. Participants need not be clean and sober but must be able to live in a community setting, must abide by the house rules, and may not endanger themselves or others. Referrals for emergency services and other community resources are also provided.
